Godspeed Events & Lodging has a nice idea and a lot of potential, but the overall experience was mixed. The setting and concept are appealing, especially for events or group stays, and there’s clearly effort put into the space. However, some aspects felt less polished than expected. Accommodations were acceptable but not particularly comfortable, and certain details seemed overlooked or unfinished. Communication and coordination were inconsistent. While some interactions were helpful, others required follow-up or clarification, which added unnecessary friction. For an operation focused on events and hospitality, smoother logistics would have made a big difference.

God Speed Events is a phenomenal place to stay and a wonderful experience It is beautiful property, reasonably priced and close to Penn State. Bart is a gracious welcoming host as you will ever find. It is just a great place to stay for individuals, families and groups.

I have attended the Barrelhouse Writer's Camp at Godspeed for the past three years and each time it has been an incredible, dare I say, life-changing experience. Beyond the beauty of the location, Bart and his family are the most kind and generous hosts and each meal is delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this place and recommend it to everyone I know. If you enjoy being outdoors and the majesty of nature unobstructed you must stay at Godspeed at least once.

Godspeed is a little slice of heaven on earth. I had the pleasure of visiting with a large group over the summer. We were well taken care of by Bart. The accommodations are exceptionally comfortable and clean, and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Nothing but good things to say about my experience, don't hesitate to book. Can't wait to return for future events.

This is a beautiful property with impressive facilities for lodging and event hosting. The party barn is spacious and equipped with an excellent sound system. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. The creek at the back of the property is peaceful and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend GodSpeed, especially for events and parties. Bart is friendly and helpful and clearly takes pride in offering great experiences for his guests.

I had an amazing time at Godspeed. The property is beautiful. My cabana was comfy, clean, and had everything I needed. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and well-stocked. The food was great. Bart and his family (including the dogs) were so kind and made it feel like home. I would 100% recommend Godspeed and I hope I get to go back.

Godspeed is THE BEST! Bart and his family are so nice and wonderful (and the food was great too!), and the cabana we stayed in was clean and cozy. Plus, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Even the showers and bathrooms are nice--spacious and clean. I will 100% be coming back next summer!
