We stayed at the courtyard this past weekend while visiting Penn State University . We were first greeted by a delightful young lady Nejar, so helpful and pleasant in every way. We then needed a few towels and met Estelle upstairs as she was moving like a race horse and was happy to help, she even made a bed in our room that we wanted made since someone else was going to sleep in it later that day ,she treats that place like her own. Saturdays am i went down for coffee and was greeted by a little ray of sunshine with her big smile, her name was Tishaye, she was happy to help as i busted her chops for not having a rain jacket ( she was going to the game and it was raining) and was a student there working to earn her way thru. I can’t say enough about everyone who works there , they were a pleasure. I was happy to share all with there manager . Gerry G

Not ideal for a trip if you need to use internet. The wifi (at the fastest possible) is leaving much to be desired. Passable for sending emails, but video conferences were laggy and hard to manage. Good service overall and extremely nice accommodations. But if you need high speed wifi for your purposes, consider other options.

No frills check in and check out. Lyndsey at front desk is always accommodating, when I have a late check in. Rooms are always spotless.

This is a great hotel for groups/ teams. Not only do show hospitality to the group, offer great food options, but they don't forget the driver and the motorcoach, either ..... especially when it's -16° overnight. Parking gets crazy at lunchtime and in the evening because of the Mexican restaurant that's in the same lot. Make sure you call the hotel a couple of days before and they will gladly reserve a spot for your bus. Housekeeping and maintenance are very hospitable and helpful as well.

Great location and very clean hotel!! The gym was very well kept and only gripe is the free weights only went up to 50 lbs and had plenty of room for more (I used 70 lbs but made due). Biggest gripe is there isn't complimented breakfast or free coffee - the little things that would go long way for guests that don't have time in the morning before heading out for their travels.

Big shoutout to Marcus! This gentleman was so kind and compassionate on the phone and sincerely appreciates his job! It is evident as he approaches every situation with grace and empathy. My son left his baby blanket there and Marcus personally went up to the room to check it since the housekeepers were on break. Called me back within minutes to share and avoided a complete breakdown with a child. Thank you for going above and beyond Marcus! This is why we’re a gold Marriott member ?

My family stayed this past weekend for arts fest in downtown state college, and our experience here was amazing. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful! We forgot our son’s basketball there and they were kind enough to ship it back to us. Everyone was incredibly nice, the pool was a little cold but still great, and the rooms were clean! Highly recommend staying here!

Great rooms, phenomenal staff! Front desk team is top notch! Especially Barbara! The housekeeping team super friendly, bar service was incredible! Great job all!!

I just wanted to leave a positive review for Barbara from the front desk who was professional, warm, and hospitable from the moment I arrived. The hotel is otherwise clean and very comfortable.

Nice clean room. The pools was great and opened early so I took the kids. Bistro food was solid and worth adding the breakfast to the room. But what I really noticed was the service. We interacted with 5 people during our stay and each person. Was exceptionally gracious, helpful, and genuinely happy. Amazing how much some kindness can kickstart your day. This even included the maintenance man doing pool maintenance getting out some pool toys for the kids. Highly recommend this location.
