The Bellefonte Campground offers a unique and comfortable stay in renovated tiny house cabins and regular cabins, praised for cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. Guests appreciate the upgraded facilities and personalized touches, while some have noted improvements needed regarding restroom facilities.
We only stayed in a "tiny cabinet" for one night but looking forward to future stays. Super cute. Clean. Everything you would need for any length of stay. Plenty of room for our family. We will definitely be back.
Tiny house cabin #73 was amazing. It has everything we need and more. The house was clean and well stocked. Loved the extra touch of robes for the hot tub. Very comfy bed and sheets. We will definitely be back.
The campground has been modernized and improved significantly over the past few years. Although many campsites are permanent, the transient ones are also very nice, generally having full hookups. Although there is no swimming pool, the splash and sprayer equipment seemed to offer great fun for many kids camping nearby. Restroom facilities and showers were clean and spacious. The later 1pm checkout was much appreciated.
I absolutely loved my stay at Bellefonte Campground. It was the perfect mix of peaceful, cozy, and unique for my solo stay. The highlight for me was the outdoor tub overlooking nature, such a surreal experience to just sit, relax, and take everything in. It felt so calming and honestly made the whole trip. The sauna was another favorite and the perfect touch, especially after a long day. Both made the stay feel way more elevated than your typical campground. Everything was clean, well kept, and thoughtfully set up. You can tell a lot of care goes into creating a relaxing experience for guests. If you’re looking for a nature escape with a little extra comfort and intention, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back! We recently stayed at Bellefonte Campground, and it was such a great experience. We were originally booked in a regular cabin, but due to the weather conditions, we were given the option to upgrade to a tiny home cabin and it was so much better (both are lovely though). We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, well organized, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Amenities like free Wi-Fi and even Netflix were available, which made everything extra comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay together
We spent two days here, and it was amazing! They thought of all the small details that make your stay the best. We stayed in a tiny cabin as a family of four (including two teenagers). It was a little tight for them on the top, but we made it work and had an amazing time. I was really impressed with how well the cabin is designed. The beds are comfortable, and the blankets and comforters are cozy. We had a Christmas Eve dinner and had plenty of space at the table. The cabin has pans, plates, bowls, and utensils. They even have ropes in the bathroom. There are recliners, magazines, a complete guide with very clear instructions, and local information. There are 2 TVs, one in the living room and 1 in the room. The light switches are labeled. The only bad part was having to leave—we didn’t want to ? Amazing place! Thanks for an amazing place to spend Christmas ? We definitely want to come back!
Bellefonte Campground is a great place to stay! We recently stayed in one of the cabins. They are cute and cozy and nicely accommodating. Also it was very clean! Thank you for all the efforts that go into this! Also the staff is very responsive with any questions prior to check in and makes everything easy for your stay.
We stayed here for the first time while visiting our freshman son for Family Weekend at PSU. The cabins are adorable and so comfortable. They were also incredibly clean. We didn’t have a chance to really explore the campground itself, but we would 100% stay again. For those wondering, it is about 20 minutes from campus.
The tiny house cabins are adorable. They come fully stocked with everything you need (utensils, cookware, glasses). The beds are so comfortable! Everything is well taken care of. It has exceeded expectations. The staff messaged before check in, to make sure we knew what to expect. It feels like a luxury hotel vs a campground. I am very pleased with our choice! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Friendly office staff that helped up relocate sites. We originally picked a tent site (located on a mountain hillside) and wanted something flatter. Office moved up no problem. If you are a van lifer, you can book the tent sites and park down this path if you have 4x4. We don't have 4x4, but it looked like a cool option! Area was beautiful and campground was quiet. Firewood onsite.
