We recently stayed at Bellefonte Campground, and it was such a great experience. We were originally booked in a regular cabin, but due to the weather conditions, we were given the option to upgrade to a tiny home cabin and it was so much better (both are lovely though). We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, well organized, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Amenities like free Wi-Fi and even Netflix were available, which made everything extra comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay together
We spent two days here, and it was amazing! They thought of all the small details that make your stay the best. We stayed in a tiny cabin as a family of four (including two teenagers). It was a little tight for them on the top, but we made it work and had an amazing time. I was really impressed with how well the cabin is designed. The beds are comfortable, and the blankets and comforters are cozy. We had a Christmas Eve dinner and had plenty of space at the table. The cabin has pans, plates, bowls, and utensils. They even have ropes in the bathroom. There are recliners, magazines, a complete guide with very clear instructions, and local information. There are 2 TVs, one in the living room and 1 in the room. The light switches are labeled. The only bad part was having to leave—we didn’t want to ? Amazing place! Thanks for an amazing place to spend Christmas ? We definitely want to come back!
Bellefonte Campground is a great place to stay! We recently stayed in one of the cabins. They are cute and cozy and nicely accommodating. Also it was very clean! Thank you for all the efforts that go into this! Also the staff is very responsive with any questions prior to check in and makes everything easy for your stay.
We stayed here for the first time while visiting our freshman son for Family Weekend at PSU. The cabins are adorable and so comfortable. They were also incredibly clean. We didn’t have a chance to really explore the campground itself, but we would 100% stay again. For those wondering, it is about 20 minutes from campus.
The tiny house cabins are adorable. They come fully stocked with everything you need (utensils, cookware, glasses). The beds are so comfortable! Everything is well taken care of. It has exceeded expectations. The staff messaged before check in, to make sure we knew what to expect. It feels like a luxury hotel vs a campground. I am very pleased with our choice! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Friendly office staff that helped up relocate sites. We originally picked a tent site (located on a mountain hillside) and wanted something flatter. Office moved up no problem. If you are a van lifer, you can book the tent sites and park down this path if you have 4x4. We don't have 4x4, but it looked like a cool option! Area was beautiful and campground was quiet. Firewood onsite.
I've stayed here several times and the cabins are all great and clean. It's nice and secluded. The hot tubs are a nice amenity The reason for three stars is that they went from a three stall bathroom that hadn't been renovated since the 70's to a renovated one this year but now there is only a single toilet in the men's bathroom for a whole campground. If you camp near the bathroom you see one person after another completely confused and a bit panicked as to why the bathroom is locked. The prices have increased a significant amount as well but doable.
Very clean new cabins. No musty odors and smells. Nice hot tub. Great place to stop on our way back to Ohio. Right in the middle of Pennsylvania. We came through here in October and the leaves were beautiful
Our family rented out 5 cabins for our daughter's first birthday. The cabins themselves were beautiful and had everything we needed. The fridge was large, the bathroom was stocked and clean, and the guest book was super helpful. I grew up in bellefonte so this location was perfect (close to downtown and a quick drive to state college). We loved the front porch and the living space in the cabin was very comfy. Reason for only 4 stars... The bedroom has no curtains and the cabin lights behind shine right through the blinds. Also, #76 said it had a queen bed, but it seemed smaller because we had to sleep head to foot with the baby in between and at home, that's not an issue. Lastly... They charged $35 to rent a pavilion for the party and there was no power option for the food. That was not communicated prior to renting. Otherwise, the people were very sweet to work with and the cabins were perfect for our blended family to get together in one place. Thank you!
We enjoyed our family vacation here very much! The cabins have everything you need and are extremely comfortable. We loved our spot at 78 because it had lots of privacy for the campfire hot tub area outside. It stayed very cool inside even on the hotter days. It was very convenient to get to activities or stores and restaurants. We absolutely loved it!
