Had to book last minute got a good deal and was super thankful they were pet friendly. Was clean and comfortable.

Overall, this hotel was very clean and comfortable to stay in. My only negative review is they need better pillows. The bed was not super soft, but some like a harder mattress, I do not. The pillows were stiff and bulky and horrible for your neck-- hopefully they get new ones or simply bring your own with you. The rooms were clean, with a fresh scent, bathroom was as well. The breakfast included in the price was simple- only hot food were waffles but they were good. Coffee was meh-- the decaf tasted burnt but it may have been b/c we came down late. Not a huge spread of food but sufficient.

Check guests bags before leaving to make sure they didnt steal towels. Ask for room numbers of everyone who enters to avoid people stealing food

Wonderful staff. One helped me get a few items when I missed breakfast, another took care of a loud guest at 2am that was shouting obnoxiously, and a 3rd asked me if I was alright or if there was anything she could get for me.

Nice staff, severely dated hotel. No safe. Bed pillows are sized like accent pillows. Not many hotel options in state college.

I thought a friend told me that this hotel was ok to stay at for the white out game. I found out right before we were heading to the hotel that my friend did not recommend the hotel. I miss understood her. All the hotels in state college are outrageously priced for the white out game. However, the Super 8 in state college did not meet any of my reasonable expectations. In addition, I paid over $800/night for 2 nights. Here are the major issues with the hotel: 1. No hot water in the sink or shower. Water is not cold it’s lukewarm warm. So you can shower but not hot. 2. Room smells musty and gross. 3. Bed is not inviting. Horrible bedspread and blanket is damp. I slept in a sleep sack and luckily I brought a pillow from home. 4. Not enough bathroom towels and the towels are very small. 5. Breakfast ends at 9:30 which is really absurd on a Sunday. 6. No place to buy snacks or drinks. 7. No safe to lock up valuables. The one positive was housekeeping was very nice and accommodating.

Recently, I stayed in this hotel - a couple of weeks ago. It is in a good location and plenty of parking etc., Unfortunately, when I stayed last few times and I encountered unfriendly staff members at the front desk, especially the manager (Last name: Boone Peters?). It looks they have problems with seeing people from other ethnicity (multicultural background) OR they don't want to work!? Well! Next time, I have plenty of option to stay in other hotel in the same area. I just want to let the Hotel management know that please train those staff members or replace them with trained people. Thank you. P.S. I DO NOT believe on the 5/5 stars review - Are they real???!!???!

Absolutely the worst mattresses ever. Especially for up to $350/ night. Worn down, TV remote didn't work and looked like it was 15 years old. The rooms were clean but both of us cannot stand or walk because of the awful mattresses. Other customers shared the same complaints in the elevator. They have a big truck that is torn apart and being worked on on the parking lot. It almost feels like some people live there, weird.

The booking at Super 8 was exceptional the room was very clean so was the property. The staff was welcoming but not overall friendly. The continental hospitality breakfast was delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.
