For corporate travelers seeking quiet, modern rooms with workspace amenities, this Baymont offers clean, updated spaces. However, guests should be aware of conflicting reports regarding cleanliness and safety, as well as unresolved refund disputes.
I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel was deserted, the hallway carpet was torn. The TV didn’t work, there was no soap in the bathroom. There was a hole in the sheet on one of the beds. After an hour I checked out, and they refused to give me a refund. Staying at the Bates Motel probably would have been a better option. —————— (MY REPLY) on 1/9/26 to the Baymont by Wyndham Milesburg: This hotel is a real dump. I so wish I had read all the bad reviews before I made this hotel reservation. The first bad sign, was that the hotel was totally deserted, and the lobby was dark and dingy, and across the way from a large truck stop. We parked our car in the dark parking lot and walked to our room down a hallway with the torn and tattered carpet. When in our room, the TV didn’t work, there was no soap in the bathroom, plus one of the sheets had holes in it, and the floor was pretty dirty. We did not feel safe in this hotel and were thinking of leaving, when we got a call saying there was a no dog policy at the hotel, so we agreed to leave. The front desk manager in the call said they would charge us a $500 fee for the dog too which was a lot more than the original room charge. As we had been in our room for less than 1 hour, we decided to leave as instructed. But, they refused to give us a refund and said we needed to reach out to Booking.com to get our money back. It felt like the Baymont hotel shaking us down, as, we did not really use the room, whether we had a small dog or not, and deserve to get our money back. In fact, I demand that they give me the money back. Please reconsider your decision before I escalate this with our credit card company, Thank you.

When in our room, the TV didn’t work, there was no soap in the bathroom, one of the sheets had holes in it, and the floor was dirty. We did not feel safe in this hotel and this is why we left. It had nothing to do with a dog. The front desk threatened to charge me a $500 fee for the dog. We had been in our room for less than 1 hour so we chose to leave. They refused to give us a refund and said we needed to reach out to Booking to get our money back. This is extortion, we did not use the room, whether we had a dog or not, and we deserve our money back. In fact, I demanded that they give me the money back. They still have not given me the refund for the night I didn’t spend in this dump of a hotel!!!
Due to a work project I stayed here for 20 weeks working over night the rooms are quiet and fairly dark when the curtains are closed. The rooms were always clean and comfortable and ready when I arrived. The new updated furniture has plenty of space to store your things and the desk area has plenty of room to work. The rooms have a nice size TV that offers streaming services. There are multiple outlets and charging stations, the mini fridge is a nice size and clean. I wear a CPAP to sleep and my room had an available wall outlet next to the bed. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything you may need. I definitely look forward to coming back to visit when I can.
The rooms were all remodeled and extremely clean and nice! We were hesitant based on the reviews however very pleased. Staff were pollute and we would reserve a room again. Location was right off the highway and we recommend eating at Four Ways Pub close by! Food pictures added!
Clean and well appointed room. Motel run by a polite young man and his lovely wife who are working to open a restaurant there. Free simple breakfast. The price was very affordable. Exercise room available.
It’s a plus it’s near 80. The carpet to the rooms is thick and plush. Out of the two beds, one had hairs in them. The bathroom had two wet washcloths hung up. The walls are paper thin. We heard a screaming child throughout the night.
Drawn by the brand name, we chose to stay here for the night. While Baymont positions itself above value brands like Super?8, this location felt more average than elevated. The hotel appears to be in the midst of some updates—furniture is newer, and the beds were comfortable. However, signs of wear are still evident, including broken tiles and areas that could use better cleaning. Amenities were minimal: no coffee maker, microwave, or cable TV in the room. Hallways were uncomfortably warm, and breakfast was very basic. If I needed to stay in this area again, I’d likely opt for a Hampton Inn or Courtyard for a more consistent and comfortable experience.
don't usually do reviews... but my experience was not as great as other reviews. Room smelled kind of funky, towels had hair on them, furniture looks cheap and not assembled well, sink did not drain, renovation work across whole building looks DIY, light switches are upside down... At least the beds were comfy and I didn't see any mold. Breakfasts were ok but not a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions.
