We reserved this for 2 nights for the Big Ten wrestling tournament. There were 3 of us in a room with two full beds. The first thing we noticed was poop stains in our toilet. The room was very warm, 77 degrees, but the thermostat wouldn’t work. We stopped by the front desk to get more bath towels and wash clothes because we only received 2. They had two towels to give us but had no wash clothes. Then they asked for your name and wrote it down as if you are a thief. We asked about temperature regulation in our room and were told to make sure the heat was off because the air conditioner didn’t work. The pool and hot tub were closed, an amenity that we paid for but couldn’t use. We were told they weren’t operational. The stairwell had an ice maker that was moldy. We are fine staying in a dated hotel, but paying for amenities you don’t receive and for a room that is uncomfortably warm, is robbery. Needless to say, this hotel isn’t recommended by us.

Staff was wonderful. Alana and Rebecca at the front desk were very helpful. The room was clean but I gave 4 stars for an old stain on the duvet, that we wouldn't have seen except my child sleeps like a tornado. We'd stay again.

Great place especially for the price, all staff were great. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice and warm even with all the snow outside. I will definately be staying here again.

Would rate this hotel a solid 2.8. If you book a room here with those expectations you shouldn't be disappointed. We were in town during an event and most other hotels were booked so this was a last resort option and it was only for one night. Would not be my first choice if going back to State College but would work again in a pinch. The indoor pool area is really nice if you have kids. Halls and floors were dirty and grimy. Beds are comfortable but did not sleep well due the the HVAC being so loud.

This was a very poor experience from the moment we stepped into our room. We were in town for THON. The room was not clean by any stretch of the imagination. I cleaned the bathroom myself and the towel was disgustingly dirty. The heating system was broken, so the room was a constant 79 degrees. Noise regulation is not enforced. I had to call the front desk to ask them to quiet people outside our room at 12:30am and as we were checking out, a fight broke out right outside our room by the pool where children were playing. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and we will not be back.

A Very Nice Hotel i was very happy with the Rooms, Service and the Celebrities Restaurant was Excellent! Will certainly stay here again! The one small thing... the Hot Tub needs whatever it is that keeps down on the Foam. Otherwise Im extremely pleased!

Location was convenient, service was excellent. Rooms were clean, pool area was beautiful, staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will stay here every time we are visiting our daughter at college.

Just finished staying here for White Out weekend. After reading the many poor reviews, I was bracing for a severely substandard experience. Not so. Our room was adequate, clean and comfortable though dated. Climate control and water temperature functional. Hotel staff friendly and even called right after check in to make sure everything was in order. Pricing value relative to other properties on this high demand weekend was good. Overall, it was an acceptable experience.

Place is a dump. How anyone could say it is a 10 and excellent is beyond me. Phony reviews. 4 rooms for employees to come in for business meetings - no heat and 46-degree mornings, rooms never went above 66 degrees. Collapsing ironing board w/ iron that almost went through my foot. Another iron that spit water and soaked colleagues’ shirt. Pubic hair on the toilet. Dirty unused towels, twice. No hot water for half the day. Alternate room with full instead of King beds offered & declined. Loss of cold-water during shower - almost scalded 4 times, no thermostatic valves. Twice requested calls from GM never returned. Call from someone else to office phone after I requested cell #. Toilet that runs unless you lift the handle. Reported but never addressed. Toilet that doesn't remove even small quantities of solids, takes 3 to 4 tries. 5 of 7 nights refunded but had to argue to get 7th night. Full amount for all rooms all nights should have been refunded. Spend a few dollars more and stay elsewhere.
