The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It looked run-down and abandoned and something was just very "off" about it. Almost like it had been shut down for 6 months and they just re-opened it when we got there. There were issues with cleanliness, climate control and the fans (both the bathroom fan and the one for the heating system). It was like noise torture and we barely slept. Additionally, only a few buttons on the remote for the TV actually worked. You had to walk up to the TV and reach behind the side to turn it on/off, control the volume and change channels. Additionally, the back door leading from the parking lot to enter our hotel corridor wouldn't latch unless you pulled it shut and heard the click. Not secure at all. The price was low by 2026 standards but it was still $120 and I felt like they shouldn't be charging people at all.

Rooms were clean. However, the heater didn't not work properly. Around 3AM the heater started making a horrible noise. We had to turn it off. Then it got cold (temp outside was 20°). No extra blankets in the room.

This hotel was absolutely horrible. Mold and mildew everywhere, chipped paint on walls and doors all throughout. There were towels in an open fridge and damaged floors. Ceilings were water stained and falling apart. Sheets and comforters were not clean, one even had pizza crumbs/sauce on it. Asked for one bed and got 2, both gross. I would give this zero stars if possible. I’ve never seen a more damaged/disgusting hotel or even motel. We left after 2 hours of debating and no refund. Surprised a place like this can stay open and with a “franchise” name.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms look recently updated and clean, but the beds appear to be on springs and very squeaky. The phone did not work in our room. There was no information card in room with breakfast times, workout room times, map of property or ice machine locations. The ice machine did not work on 2nd floor. Only hot items for breakfast were waffles and instant oatmeal. They did have gluten free bagels which was nice for my gluten free spouse. The apple cinnamon topping for waffles was nice too. Overpriced for what you get.

The staff working here were very friendly. The continental breakfast is only available until 10 a.m., and checkout is at 11. The woman running breakfast was especially kind. Since we arrived at the hotel late (around 1:45 a.m. after a football game), we didn’t make it down until 9:55 a.m. She was starting to clean up but kept checking with us to make sure we got what we needed before putting things away, which we really appreciated. That said, the hotel itself is very old and needs updating. The rugs look dirty and dusty, and the room was not very clean. I wiped down the nightstand, tables, sink, and toilet with Clorox wipes, and they came up dirty. The sheets seemed clean, but we did find a couple of hairs and even a small dead bug on them. The location is convenient—about 30 minutes from Penn State. We’ve stayed here before and had the same experience. The main reason we chose it again was because it was the only hotel available at a reasonable rate during a White Out weekend and didn’t require a two-night minimum, which was a big plus.

Quality inn more like Run Down inn. I thought this hotel was going to be good until we walked into the room. My family and I got a room here on our trip back from Connecticut and when we entered the room we could already tell something was up. We first notice the dirt on the floor then the chips and scratches on the wood and other stuff. The TV was next which looked old. That bathroom definitely is outdated and needs to be remodeled. We then went to the gas station here in the town to get some drinks like Gatorade and other stuff. While my parents were inside of the store they told the cashier about like the hotel that they had gotten and what it looked like and stuff in the cashier said that we made a mistake going to this hotel. That's when we started to realize this town must not be very popular or good. We got back to the hotel and went to our room. When we got in the room the worst part was when I sat down on my bed and was just checking it for bed bugs since the hotel looked run down and like old. That's when I noticed a stain on the pillow at first I thought it was sort of funny and then my dad walked over to it he looked closer then he realized that stain isn't a regular old stain it was from bed bugs. There were little bed bugs around my pillow too which I then noticed. My family then decided to leave the hotel because no person should have to stay in a hotel feeling uncomfortable when a hotel is supposed to make you feel clean. I think either this hotel needs to be closed down or they need to make a serious change.

So definitely a mixed review here. The up sides, service was good, we checked in at 1:30am and the lady at the desk was very pleasant. The AC in the room worked exceptionally well. The beds were comfortable enough. They had Udis Gluten Free Bagels as a breakfast option. Unfortunately the hotel is in rough shape past the lobby. The walls in general are banged up and paint chipping. Our room had several unidentifiable little bugs scrambled across the floor when we turned on the lights, there were boogers wiped on the wall by one bed and there were stains on the duvet cover. I guess it's what you get these days for $100 for four people in two queen beds.

I would never recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel for multiple reasons. My first and foremost reason was how me and my boyfriend were treated upon our arrival. We walked up to the front desk to check in and were almost immediately questioned by the front desk worker as to our reason for staying. Which I know it is common to ask so I replied with just leisure. The lady looked at me and said we don't allow locals to stay here. She said I can see you live lock haven and we don't let locals stay here. I proceeded to ask what she means and what that means for us. To which she replied we only allow locals to stay in extreme circumstances like your pipes burst but you both I guess look like responsible people so you can stay. I have never before heard of a hotel turning down business because of where you live and never been basically discriminated against because of that. Once we got our keys and headed to the room we noticed the building was slightly run down. Which it's an older hotel to my knowledge so we didn't mind that part. We got to our room on the second floor and we were immediately greeted with a mold or mildew smell when you entered the room. It wasn't over powering thankfully but was powerful enough that you could smell it through the whole room. The mattress was very solid and frame was extremely creaky. Every time one of us would get up to use the bathroom we would wake the other person up. The bathroom was dirty. I completely understand that a hotel has hundreds of towels to wash daily but I do think they should update they're towels if they're all stained. I get if one or two towels get stained and you don't pay attention to it but almost every towel/wash cloth we were given had stains on them. The floor was disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in a long time. There was previous guests hair on the floor and tub as well. It was just overall not a great experience.
