I literally don’t have enough words to express the amazing experience we had with our hosts and our stay at the Ingelby Lodge. From the moment that I contacted Lori (owner) - a year prior to our stay- she answered every question with grace and timeliness. The Lodge is a hidden gem, just 40 minutes from State College- a perfect distance for our PSU graduation stay! The Lodge has immaculate grounds and an incredibly furnished home. Every detail has been covered. We enjoyed the deck and patio areas with plenty of seating, two grills (gas and charcoal), a grassy flat lawn for corn hole and games of kickball. You could even enjoy a nap in the hammock with the serene sound of the stream nearby! It was all amazing! Thank you again for hosting us! We loved every minute!!
On our yearly trip to fish the Penns from Western New York, we finally found the only place to stay in Central PA! The Lodge and the property are second to none. The location is perfect as it allows for a short trip to restaurants or shopping for groceries if you choose to take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen or barbecue grill. Not to mention the private access to Pine and Elk Creeks just minutes away. Lori is always accessible and is there to provide answers to any questions you may have. Thanks for providing a truly unparalleled experience!
We had a truly wonderful experience at Ingleby Lodge. The pictures don’t do justice to how picturesque the lodge and natural surroundings are. Everything was tidy, the kitchen had everything you would need on-hand and the owners had it beautifully decorated! We had a girls tea party there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!
We spent a long weekend at the lodge for a fishing trip. It was such a wonderful place! From arriving and the first impression to the time we checked out. The owners were great and communication before we arrived let us know everything was ready. The house was perfect and had everything you could need. The kitchen was great and we grilled out for every dinner. We can’t wait to head back up.
Our first stay at Ingleby Lodge certainly did not disappoint! The cabin is stunning, beautifully decorated and landscaped, secluded, and cozy. We enjoyed exploring the nearby small towns, wineries, and countryside. The owner, Lori, was very helpful and responsive which enhanced both planning the long weekend and our comfort during our stay. A black bear visited a couple nights which was a special surprise for us all! Fly fishing on the private waters provided memories and great fishing experiences. We look forward to returning sometime soon!
