Reviews are highly mixed, highlighting excellent service, clean facilities, and a great breakfast for satisfied guests, while former guests complain about deep cleaning failures, rude staff, and issues with room maintenance.
Perfect place to stay on cross-country drive. Easy access from highway, very pleasant staff, even in the breakfast area, comfortable beds with 4 soft fluffy pillows, and a full variety of breakfast items at the self service area, which also offered a spacious seating area.
Holiday INN Express has always been our favorite, we never saw this one coming. This was the most pathetic Holiday Inn Express we’ve ever stayed at. It makes us think twice about booking again. The night shift staff was incredibly ignorant. They didn’t greet us, say hello, or goodbye. They didn’t even make eye contact or show any respect. The room was pathetic. The door couldn’t be closed properly, and everything was covered in dust and crumbs. It was disgusting. We paid $200 per night, and we shouldn’t have to deal with this.
Very Very Friendly and accommodating services from the Hotel manager and his team members. Nice room and comfortable beds! Like the coffee beans brewing machine, and the breakfast! Great location! Great stay! Great experience!
The hotel is beautiful and within walking distance to the Wegmans shopping center, to include: Dicks, Kohls, Target, etc… The staff has been kind, courteous and keep it looking very nice.
11-10-2025 - HOTEL DESERVES A FAIL! RUDE Employees and Broken down rooms!! BANG! BANG! BANG! First thing in the morning! House keeping SLAMS the doors going first thing in the morning IN and OUT, IN and OUT of the rooms with ZERO consideration of the sleeping rooms next door. We asked the housekeeper if she could use something to block the door from slamming and the woman gave a dead eye look and walked into the room letting the door slam. From there she made an effort to let the door close harder where it rattled the walls. So much for trying to rest from driving all night first thing 8am in the morning. The attendant for breakfast was missing for the hour we were down there. The breakfast selection was either crusty, stale or missing. The scrambled eggs were sitting in pile of water. The bacon was hard, burnt, stale and overcooked, there was no batter for waffles, juice machine was empty and there was NO ONE / NO EMPLOYEE around the entire time (45min) we were down at breakfast. When the woman came back she automatically closed the breakfast doors 10 minutes before breakfast was over, I went over to the doors and asked why she was closing early without notice, she said "she didnt have time for it", what?? There was 5 tables of people eating and the employee DID NOT announce "she didnt have time to do the breakfast" or let anyone get any last foods before closing. The rooms were not properly cleaned, the bed had imprints of where someone had laid in the bed w/ head on pillow, the fridge in the room had a open soda. The shower had 4 really long brown hairs, toilet had curly hairs under the toilet seat and the sink had a crust around the sink / counter-top. The floors were not vacuumed. The sheets need trashed from old stains. The windows are FILTHY. The entire room was just over-all dirty! When I called down to the front desk, the kid who answered said he was the only one working and couldn't move me to another room. Said I'd have to wait until someone came in the next morning. ** CHECK THE ROOM YOUR PAYING FOR!! - look in the shower for hairs - look under the toilet seat for hairs - check the sink for crust - check the fridge for mold in back - check microwave if been cleaned - check floor for trash around corners - check sheets for not being washed. - check safe, if its unlocked. - check your windows, easiest thing to clean If housekeeping cant clean the easiest thing (the windows), how are they cleaning the hardest thing (the toilets)?
Beautiful, clean and well maintained property looks like newly refurbished. Nice decor of mountain lion mascot and good painting in the lobby. Friendly and accommodating services from the Hotel manager and his team members. Like the coffee beans brewing machine, and the delicious breakfast. Great location! Great stay! Great experience!
I absolutely loved it here! It’s only been an hour since check-in, and we already like it very much. The check-in process was flawless, and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing, I’ll definitely ask for his name when I go downstairs. I went to get some water, and he didn’t even charge me. He’s very nice and soft-spoken. Experiences like this make a big difference, and I will definitely recommend this property. We are traveling to New York for a wedding tomorrow, and we booked this hotel while sitting in the car at the property. The price was very reasonable compared to other brand hotels nearby. Thank you to the team, and keep up the great work!
We enjoyed our stay here. We came for a Penn State football weekend. The location was prime, and was just a short drive to Beaver Stadium. There was also a shuttle available. Our room was clean and included a very comfortable mattress. The breakfast was excellent, and included fresh roasted coffee. Would definitely return when visiting Penn State.
